Privacy Policy
Version 2026-09-047Mova helps families decide where to relocate by comparing jobs, housing, and schools in one place. To do that, it needs to know very little about you — and this document describes exactly what little that is, derived directly from the code validating the data rather than a generic template.
What we store
When you sign in with Google: your email, your name, and your profile picture URL, along with an identifier from your Google account. We do not receive and never ask for your password — identity verification is handled by Google itself.
When you set up your family profile:
- how many adults, and whether both are seeking work;
- birth year of each child — only the year, never names or exact dates. The year suffices to determine the school stage, which is what the product needs;
- housing budget, currency, and whether renting or buying;
- preferred employment arrangement, visa sponsorship requirements, and expected salary range;
- acceptable commute time and preferred transit mode;
- preference for public vs. private schools and language instruction;
- weights assigned to salary, commute, schools, housing costs, and safety;
- up to five target destinations.
When you accept this policy: the version accepted and the timestamp. This provides proof of consent — which is why it is never overwritten upon future updates; each acceptance is stored completely.
What the system rejects
Profile validation is strict: any field not in the list above is rejected, not ignored. There is nowhere to enter children’s names, identity documents, full birthdates, home addresses, or phone numbers — these fields have no schema definition, so they cannot enter even by mistake or third-party integration.
How we use it
To answer your question: where jobs, homes, and schools align for your family. The weights you provide inform the comparative ranking; children’s ages identify school stages; the budget filters housing. We do not sell ranking positions, and no advertiser pays for preferential placement.
Who we share it with
No one, for marketing purposes. 7Mova also provides services to partner applications (such as VisaAI): in those cases, the partner collects and manages identity, and 7Mova receives only an opaque identifier. If you registered directly on this site, your account is managed exclusively by 7Mova.
Retention and how to delete
These are two distinct actions, and the interface lets you perform each separately:
- delete profile (in My Account → My Profile): the family profile is removed from the product while your account remains active. You may complete a new one later;
- close account (in My Account): your account is deactivated, the Google OAuth link is removed, and the profile is deleted. You can no longer log in — though you may register fresh in the future using the same Google account.
What “deletion” means here specifically: the record is marked as deleted and immediately ceases to be served by any view. Data remains in database backups until scheduled purging. We state this explicitly rather than promising instant physical erasure — soft-deletion also safeguards against accidental loss.
What survives account closure: the record of your acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Policy, including version and date. This serves as proof that consent was granted, and contains no personally identifying information — your email and name are removed from the closed account.
A technical limitation we declare openly: closing your account logs you out of the browser you are using. If an active session was left open on another device, it may remain valid until its expiration token lapses.
An exception disclosed upfront: if you made a purchase, order and billing receipts are not erased — tax regulations mandate minimum retention periods for accounting records. We sever the link between the order and your identity: the financial record remains, but the associated individual is no longer identifiable.
Where data is hosted
The application and database run on managed servers in Microsoft Azure’s Brazil South region. Payment transactions are processed by Stripe, which operates internationally and securely manages card data — 7Mova never receives it.
What we do not yet promise is redundancy: we do not claim multi-region replication or formal high-availability SLAs, as these architectures are not yet deployed. We state our factual hosting location openly.
Your rights
You may request access to data stored about you, correct inaccuracies, delete your profile, close your account, or withdraw consent. The profile can be modified anytime in My Account → My Profile, and deletion procedures operate as detailed above.
